During May 2017, we had diversity of jobs. Mauricio Fernandez went to Peru to evaluate some high value fishing vessels laid up there, one of them being the worlds largest fish factory. Simon Groves visited the Peruvian Amazon and familiarised himself with river cruise vessels built and operated there. This came after trips to Argentina for a complex engine failure investigation and a trip to Brazil to carry out a loss prevention exercise with an offshore vessel company. David Jones has been busy in Turkey, Spain, Italy and other parts of Europe with some interesting vessels. On the horizon we have another fleet of fishing vessels on the west coast US and Alaska, and it will make a nice change to visit Alaska in the summer months!
